Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of robust, business-critical verification systems.
- Drive solution design, code quality, coding standards, scalability, maintainability, and performance.
- Act as a technical escalation point for the team, including outside office hours.
- Review team adherence and output while ensuring solutions meet business needs.
- Own work estimation, solution documentation, and accurate delivery planning.
- Understand and manage the technical structure, domain, architecture, and configuration of development and production systems.
- Collaborate with managers, architects, and other stakeholders to create fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Own technical solutions from development through live production environments.
- Distribute knowledge and mentor and coach team members.
Requirements
- Commercial experience leading development solutions.
- Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .Net, Golang, or TypeScript, or experience with similar or alternative technologies.
- Experience mentoring and coaching a team.
- Experience with high-availability, multi-browser-compatible development.
- Experience with high-availability, multi-user, service-based systems.
- Strong technical documentation skills and high standards of work and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant discipline, or relevant professional experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
