Responsibilities
- Design and implement privacy-preserving architectures for AI training and inference systems.
- Partner with AI researchers to implement privacy-preserving training methodologies.
- Build foundational privacy infrastructure including automated data discovery and access controls.
- Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable technical implementations.
- Architect comprehensive data governance platforms for tracking data lineage.
- Lead technical privacy reviews and threat modeling for new AI models.
- Collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to embed privacy controls.
- Develop privacy engineering toolkits and frameworks for engineers.
- Design and implement privacy-preserving analytics and measurement systems.
- Research and evaluate emerging privacy technologies and contribute to open-source tools.
- Act as a consultant and advocate for privacy best practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience focused on privacy, security, or data protection.
- Deep expertise in privacy engineering principles.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.
- Experience with privacy-enhancing technologies.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing privacy infrastructure.
- Expertise in data governance and lifecycle management systems.
- Strong understanding of privacy regulations and ability to translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience conducting privacy reviews and risk assessments.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
