Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of core backend services and integrations for Wirespeed’s detection platform.
- Own high-impact integrations with key security tools, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with detection engineering and security operations to create robust detection logic and pipelines.
- Set technical standards for code quality, testing, and observability, driving adoption through reviews.
- Mentor and guide senior engineers in complex architectural decisions and scalable solutions.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a backend or platform engineer building distributed systems and cloud-based services.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript/Node.js or a similar modern backend language.
- Hands-on experience with third-party API integrations; experience with security tools is preferred.
- Solid understanding of security concepts, with expertise in areas like EDR or SIEM.
- Proven ability to design and operate complex systems handling high data volumes.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and effective collaboration skills.
- Strong communication skills and a practical approach to problem solving.
- Experience in cybersecurity or related domains is a plus but not required.
