Base Salary
$150k - $188k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop robust, scalable, and high-performance backend software for evolving product needs
- Design, implement, and maintain Elasticsearch environments to meet performance and scalability requirements
- Contribute across the product lifecycle from conception through deployment, refinement, and scaling
- Architect and maintain the real-time search platform supporting creator discovery across 30 million profiles and billions of posts
- Build high-performance APIs in Go
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to address user needs and business objectives
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and development process refinement
- Provide technical guidance and foster ownership among engineering team members
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of software development experience with a strong computer science background
- At least 3 years of recent Elasticsearch experience or similar
- Experience designing and working with complex systems and high-load services
- In-depth Elasticsearch knowledge and familiarity with AWS infrastructure
- Proven Golang development experience or strong willingness to learn and adapt
- Foundation in computing theory, object-oriented programming, database theory, and network interactions
- Experience with API development, web application frameworks, testing frameworks, and Git
- Proficiency in Python, PHP, JavaScript/Node.js, or Java for scalable, high-load services
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Agile development methodologies
- Practical English communication skills for working in an international team
- Laravel, Symfony Framework, or other significant framework experience is preferred
- Cloud computing experience or certifications in AWS, GCP, or Azure is preferred
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerization/orchestration technologies is preferred
