Base Salary

$150k - $188k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Engage in back-end development to meet product needs with robust and scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle from conception to deployment.
  • Design, implement, and maintain Elasticsearch environments for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with product managers and architects to address user needs and business objectives.
  • Uphold high standards in software development with clean, testable, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to refine development processes.
  • Foster a culture of ownership and accountability among team members.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of software development experience with a strong computer science background.
  • 3+ years of recent Elasticsearch experience or similar.
  • Ability to design and work with complex systems and high-load services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Elasticsearch and familiarity with AWS infrastructure.
  • Proven experience in Golang development or a willingness to learn.
  • Solid foundation in computing theory, including OOP principles and database theory.
  • Experience with REST API development and web application frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python, PHP, or JavaScript, particularly in building scalable services.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Agile development methodologies.
  • Practical communication skills in English for an international team environment.
