Base Salary
$192k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the core Home experience in the React Native application.
- Ship improvements focused on performance, reliability, polish, accessibility, and responsive native-quality interactions.
- Partner with product, design, and data teams to analyze the Home funnel, identify drop-offs, and prioritize experiments.
- Improve the server-driven UI architecture, APIs, configuration models, and guardrails with backend and platform teams.
- Participate in A/B testing, feature flagging, event instrumentation, and measurement of layouts, recommendations, and calls to action.
- Own the long-term technical roadmap for the Home pod’s client architecture and drive cross-team improvements across sessions and care plans.
- Mentor and pair with engineers through code reviews, design discussions, technical guidance, and mobile best-practice coaching.
- Raise engineering standards and help scale the pod’s impact as the product and membership grow.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of practical software engineering experience building and shipping user-facing applications in production.
- At least 2 years of hands-on React Native experience building mobile applications at scale.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript, React Native, and modern mobile development tooling.
- Experience with server-driven or configuration-driven UI, experimentation, funnel instrumentation, and metrics-driven product iteration is preferred.
- Familiarity with backend services such as Node/TypeScript or GraphQL is preferred.
- Experience with high-traffic critical-path product surfaces, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with product, design, and data teams is preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, consumer applications, or regulated or data-sensitive environments is preferred.
