Base Salary
$192k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Understand the Home domain and member journeys within the app.
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to identify and prioritize improvements.
- Ship enhancements to the React Native Home experience focusing on performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers on mobile best practices and code quality.
- Improve server-driven UI architecture in collaboration with backend teams.
- Participate in experimentation and measurement frameworks to iterate on user experience.
- Own the long-term technical roadmap for the Home pod's client architecture.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the end-to-end member journey.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience with user-facing applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on React Native experience.
- Experience with server-driven UI or configuration-driven presentation layers is preferred.
- Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript and modern mobile development tools.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision making.
- Ability to mentor and collaborate with other engineers.
