Base Salary

$150k - $290k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design integrations based on healthcare workflows and translate customer requirements into interface, data-flow, and EHR-configuration recommendations.
  • Investigate EHR behavior, configuration issues, workflow dependencies, and integration blockers with customers, vendors, and engineering teams.
  • Define integration readiness requirements and guide EHR and IT teams through registration, provisioning, environment setup, workflow testing, and go-live.
  • Support customer discovery with Sales, Sales Engineering, and Agent Development by assessing feasibility and integration requirements.
  • Evaluate EHR vendor capabilities and customer needs to recommend reusable platform investments versus customer-specific implementation work.
  • Create reference designs, implementation guides, and internal training based on deployment experience.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in healthcare interoperability or EHR implementation, with responsibility for designing or delivering integrations.
  • Deep expertise in at least one major EHR ecosystem, such as Epic, athenahealth, Oracle Health, eClinicalWorks, MEDITECH, or a similar system.
  • Practical knowledge of patient-access workflows including scheduling, registration, or referral management.
  • Technical fluency in healthcare integrations, including API documentation, requests and responses, data troubleshooting, FHIR, HL7v2, vendor APIs, or file-based exchange.
  • Experience taking third-party integrations through application registration, authentication, permissions, testing, workflow validation, and production go-live.
  • Strong communication, independent judgment, customer-discovery, and implementation-planning skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include Epic certifications, experience across multiple EHR vendors or health systems, SQL or scripting experience, healthcare AI-agent experience, and hands-on integration software development.
  • Experience with API calls, troubleshooting failures, tests, TypeScript, Go, or Python is a plus.
