Base Salary
$225k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain horizontally scalable backend systems using TypeScript and Go.
- Develop GraphQL and REST APIs for iOS, Android, and web clients.
- Lead features through the full lifecycle from ideation to maintenance.
- Define and uphold a robust testing strategy across various layers.
- Collaborate with product, design, and client engineers to translate requirements into backend solutions.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and process improvements.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in backend development with strong proficiency in Go.
- Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases like Redis and DynamoDB.
- Deep knowledge of testing best practices and frameworks.
- Experience owning features end-to-end from conception to production.
- Strong grasp of system design principles for scaling products.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Enjoys collaborative work in cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization technologies.
