Base Salary
$127k - $249k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a world-class continuous deployment experience for rapidly and reliably shipping MongoDB products
- Contribute to open-source projects and software-based solutions such as Kubernetes operators
- Own the onboarding flow for engineering teams launching new products or services
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering teams to provide a consistent service-onboarding experience
- Provide internal support for deployment systems by answering questions and resolving issues
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for deployment infrastructure incidents
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development and operating distributed systems
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar programming language
- Proven experience building and operating large-scale continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
- Experience using and extending containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes
- Expertise with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
- Understanding of Linux operating system internals and networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, and routing
- Customer-focused mindset and preference for automation over manual operations
