Base Salary
$127k - $249k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a world-class continuous deployment experience for MongoDB products.
- Contribute to open-source projects and engineering software-based approaches.
- Own the onboarding flow for engineering teams launching new products or services.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering teams for a consistent service-onboarding experience.
- Provide internal support for deployment systems, addressing questions and issues.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for deployment infrastructure issues.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software development and operating distributed systems.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or a similar programming language.
- Experience building and operating large-scale CI/CD pipelines.
- Customer-focused mindset with a preference for automation over manual processes.
- Experience with containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes.
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of Linux internals and networking concepts.
