Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-enabled digital products integrating retrieval, generation, and reasoning capabilities.
- Scout, evaluate, and integrate emerging AI technologies into applications.
- Build backend services, data retrieval layers, frontend interfaces, and supporting data processing pipelines.
- Prototype rapidly and apply software engineering best practices to experimental AI applications.
- Shape technical strategy for sustainable and intelligent AI systems.
- Ensure systems are robust, secure, interoperable, and aligned with analyst and organizational needs.
- Collaborate with analysts, AI engineers, data scientists, designers, and product managers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant software development experience.
- Background in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages, with backend service development experience.
- Experience integrating AI models, APIs, or frameworks such as Huggingface, LangChain, OpenAI API, or open-source AI models into applications.
- Frontend development experience with React or similar frameworks.
- Understanding of system architecture, software engineering best practices, and scalable service development.
- Familiarity with relational databases, vector stores, or search engines.
- Hands-on experience with Git CI/CD, Docker, and cloud environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes RAG systems, semantic search, knowledge graphs, AI evaluation, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, rapid prototyping, technical leadership, or AI technology adoption.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum is preferred.
