Responsibilities

  • Design and build data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data into data warehouses, lakes, and analytics platforms.
  • Develop scalable data ingestion, integration, transformation, validation, and analytics frameworks.
  • Design applications, subsystems, data models, databases, reporting platforms, and analytics solutions across multiple projects.
  • Implement data quality, access controls, security protocols, governance, monitoring, and regulatory compliance measures.
  • Automate routine processes, optimize infrastructure, perform performance tuning, and monitor data workflows.
  • Prepare datasets for analytics and reporting and deploy models to production environments.
  • Develop and execute application, ETL, feed-file, database, dashboard, user acceptance, and post-installation testing.
  • Create technical documentation, project plans, analyses, and solutions for multiple corporate initiatives.
  • Collaborate with analysts, product teams, executives, and stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field, plus three years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree in one of these fields plus one year of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience must include data integration, data modeling, data pipeline development, and analytics solutions using AWS, SQL, Teradata, and Informatica.
  • Experience designing scalable, high-performance data ingestion frameworks and pipelines using Python, AWS Lambda, EMR, S3, EC2, Linux, Shell scripting, Informatica, and Control-M.
  • Experience with data modeling and database design using Star, Snowflake, Data Vault, dimensional structures, Snowflake, PySpark, and Oracle.
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical validations and assessing data accuracy and quality using SQL/PLSQL.
  • Experience automating CI/CD deployments using Stash, GitHub, Jenkins, and uDeploy.
  • Experience developing ETL and database comparison automation frameworks using ICEDQ and Gherkin, and testing Tableau dashboards using data permutations.
