Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse backend software systems.
- Develop and customize core applications including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog applications.
- Design and develop Python-based software with an emphasis on APIs.
- Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
- Resolve software problem reports and apply appropriate software development and design methodologies.
- Provide input on system design, hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, COTS/GOTS solutions, and requirements analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four additional years of software engineering experience on projects with similar software processes.
- At least two years of experience developing and customizing core applications such as Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog.
- At least four years of IT application systems experience in technology solutions delivery.
- Experience with Python.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team on complex software systems.
