Base Salary
$93k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Use algorithms, data structures, and design patterns to produce efficient and performant code.
- Develop, extend, debug, and test code within existing team tools and services.
- Execute design and debugging tasks and troubleshoot bugs and production issues.
- Contribute to logging, testing, instrumentation, metrics, monitors, alerts, best practices, and processes.
- Contribute to service architecture, data architecture, infrastructure as code, deployment pipelines, and public cloud services.
- Participate in on-call rotations and operational excellence activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying scalable, highly available systems.
- Significant hands-on coding and debugging experience.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the software development life cycle.
- Proficiency in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem solving, and complexity analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, databases, and operating systems.
- Proficiency in popular coding languages including Python, Java, and C++, and systems such as Git.
- Preferred experience includes e-commerce, Scrum, XP or other agile methodologies, configuration and deployment management, technology infrastructure, networking, compute, storage, virtualization, large-scale data analysis or mining, and AWS.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $92,500 to $160,000 per year, plus eligibility for 401k and new-hire and annual equity grants; C08+ positions may also be eligible for an annual bonus.
