Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, enhance, and support scalable applications, services, APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, product, and platform teams to deliver secure, maintainable, and reusable software solutions.
- Use approved generative AI and AI-assisted development tools for code development, documentation, refactoring, testing, prototyping, code review assistance, and developer productivity.
- Review and govern AI-generated code for alignment with enterprise architecture, risk, security, confidentiality, and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to data modeling, data pipeline development, analytics environments, distributed systems, and modern design patterns.
- Support technology platform operations including certificate management, application patching, disaster recovery readiness, observability, autonomous operations, and continuous deployment.
- Apply prompt engineering and responsible data-handling practices in accordance with Model Risk Management guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in structured training, mentorship, networking, and collaboration with senior technology leaders.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field with expected graduation in July 2028.
- Demonstrated software engineering experience through coursework, internships, research, or relevant work experience.
- Foundational knowledge of one or more of Java, Python, .NET, SQL, or cloud technologies.
- Demonstrated exposure to generative AI or AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or code assistants.
- Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and API development is preferred.
- Experience with software development lifecycle practices including testing and deployment is preferred.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering concepts and responsible AI usage is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, initiative, curiosity, and learning skills are preferred.
- Extracurricular involvement through volunteerism, student organizations, study abroad, leadership, or nonprofit activities is preferred.
- Must take and pass the required technology skills assessment.
