Base Salary
$176k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, cloud-native software solutions using modern technology stacks.
- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, contractors, and vendors while serving as a subject-matter expert.
- Develop, review, debug, and maintain secure, high-quality production code.
- Drive adoption, governance, validation standards, and reuse of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and automation.
- Influence product design, application functionality, technical operations, and engineering processes.
- Contribute to firmwide software development lifecycle frameworks, tools, practices, and engineering community initiatives.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced experience with at least one programming language, including Golang.
- Experience migrating complex applications to the public cloud, including IaC, SRE, and acceleration roles.
- Experience leading the effective use of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security controls.
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes, with deep knowledge in one or more technical disciplines.
- Ability to solve design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight.
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience with Terraform, AWS, Java, and Python.
