Base Salary
$150k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build manufacturing software end to end across data models, APIs, frontend interfaces, tests, and rollout.
- Design workflows for work orders, routings, bills of materials, inventory, material availability, capacity, scheduling, and production state.
- Develop React interfaces for technicians, planners, supervisors, engineers, and other production users.
- Design and evolve relational models that accurately represent manufacturing state and maintain data integrity.
- Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to understand factory processes and convert operational gaps into product capabilities.
- Contribute to architecture, code review, testing, and development practices across the Crucible team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and shipping full-stack software.
- Experience building MES, MRP/ERP, production planning, supply chain, inventory, PLM, or other manufacturing software.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and production operations gained through building or operating domain software.
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and modern backend development.
- Strong relational data modeling and SQL fundamentals.
- Experience taking complex operational workflows from problem definition through shipped software.
- Strong written and verbal communication across engineering and operational teams.
- U.S. person required due to ITAR regulations.
- Preferred qualifications include MES, MRP, APS, ERP, PLM, or supply chain planning product experience; complex manufacturing experience; direct factory-floor collaboration; and aerospace, defense, robotics, industrial automation, or manufacturing experience.
