Responsibilities

Create, improve, and maintain production services for health feature analysis.
Collaborate with Data Engineers to enhance ML data pipelines and validation systems.
Translate research prototypes into production ML systems optimized for scale and efficiency.
Align model development with health insights and member impact through collaboration with researchers and product teams.
Participate in on-call rotations to ensure uptime and performance of data science services.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or related field; Master’s preferred.
5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or Software Engineer focused on ML systems.
Expertise in working with time series data, preferably from wearables or physiological sensors.
Experience in designing and deploying ML inference systems at scale.
Strong coding skills in Python and SQL, with a focus on production-quality code.
Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams.
Experience deploying ML systems on cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
Familiarity with MLOps best practices, including model versioning and CI/CD for ML.
Ability to design for performance trade-offs in ML inference systems.
Strong understanding of backend service development related to serving ML models.
