Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define DevOps strategy and lead infrastructure architecture across multi-environment, multi-region cloud systems.
- Architect, operate, and scale Kubernetes platforms and containerized infrastructure.
- Own infrastructure as code strategy and platform standards across environments.
- Lead DevSecOps practices covering secrets management, compliance, auditing, IAM, and zero-trust networking.
- Drive platform reliability, performance, service-level objectives, observability, and cost optimization.
- Lead complex cloud migrations and platform modernization initiatives.
- Design and operate AI/ML platform infrastructure, including model serving, GPU workload orchestration, LLM gateways, vector stores, and deployment systems.
- Partner with engineering, product, and leadership; lead architecture reviews and release readiness assessments.
- Mentor engineers, establish engineering standards, and act as a technical escalation point.
- Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to improve reliability and developer experience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional DevOps or platform engineering experience, including leadership of complex platform initiatives.
- Expert scripting and programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, Java, or Bash.
- Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform and expert Kubernetes and container orchestration skills.
- Expert infrastructure as code experience across multiple tools and strong CI/CD architecture experience at scale.
- Strong DevSecOps experience, including secrets management, compliance, and auditing.
- Experience with networking, IAM, cloud security architecture, zero-trust principles, service mesh, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.
- Strong AI/ML platform infrastructure experience, including model serving, GPU workload orchestration, LLM gateways, vector stores, and AI/ML deployment systems.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentoring, stakeholder communication, and sound judgment in ambiguous environments.
- Expert day-to-day knowledge of AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.
- Cloud certifications such as AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, CKA, or Azure DevOps Engineer, or FinOps experience, are preferred.
- Experience designing and provisioning HPC cluster infrastructure across AWS, CoreWeave, GCP, and OCI is helpful.
- Experience with HPC job schedulers or workload managers such as Slurm is helpful.
