Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deploy AI-native feature standardizations in Java on AWS.
- Write maintainable, well-organized production code using effective data structures and algorithms.
- Collaborate with technical program managers, product managers, and engineers on scoping, code reviews, and operational support.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and improve reliability across the ordering platform.
- Integrate AI models and AI knowledge bases into commerce workflows.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, deployment, and operational reviews.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience involving design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- 1+ years of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
