Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement robotic applications and infrastructure.
- Own significant Fleet Management components and deliver features through design, code review, launch, and production operation.
- Contribute to team strategy, long-term vision, and roadmap.
- Collaborate with organizational stakeholders, customers, and partners to test prototypes and incorporate feedback.
- Design for fault tolerance and operational excellence and create mechanisms for continuous improvement.
- Prototype and test features using simulations, emulators, and live robotic equipment.
- Mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
