Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build agentic AI systems that monitor, optimize, validate, and deploy transportation network configurations.
- Design and implement graph algorithms for route optimization across a large multi-modal transportation network.
- Develop highly available, low-latency distributed services that process millions of real-time decisions.
- Own software systems end to end and deliver solutions to complex, ambiguous problems.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding, design, reviews, testing, and operations.
- Raise the engineering bar through strong technical contributions and communication.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
