Responsibilities
- Read and understand requirements and solution documents.
- Prepare and review test cases and test scenarios.
- Execute tests and report, analyze, and track defects through closure.
- Simulate and triage issues raised by customers.
- Address functional queries from stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of existing products, operations, systems, and the banking domain.
- Follow testing plans and schedules and adhere to quality processes.
- Assist the Development team with process improvements to improve product quality.
Requirements
- Graduate or postgraduate qualification from a reputed university or college.
- At least 3 years of experience, including at least 2 years in the BFS/GPP Payments domain.
- Experience testing software applications or packages in the banking domain.
- Good SQL knowledge and basic Unix knowledge.
- Knowledge of testing processes and activities and the banking domain.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred: GPP testing experience, JIRA knowledge, familiarity with web application deployment, Soap UI web service testing experience, and experience with automation tools.
