Base Salary
$265k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Help lead major projects, including taking new products from 0 to 1 and improving first-party cloud primitives.
- Collaborate closely with designers and product managers to iterate on and improve Replit Cloud.
- Identify and solve difficult technical and quality problems.
- Mentor and develop senior engineers and support engineering growth.
- Build and ship full-stack products and infrastructure using TypeScript, React, CSS, Postgres, Go, and Terraform.
- Create differentiated product experiences using Replit’s cloud infrastructure for non-technical and semi-technical users.
- Use AI agents to proactively optimize or suggest improvements to application latency, reliability, SEO, and other areas.
- Participate in engineering leadership by steering teams toward high-impact work and supporting company-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent real-world engineering experience.
- 10+ years of software experience.
- At least 3+ years of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Preferred experience building user-facing platform-as-a-service products.
- Preferred experience with AI or agentic systems.
- Previous experience at a high-growth startup is preferred.
- Open source project contributions are a bonus.
- Ability to solve complex operational challenges systematically, work autonomously, communicate technical concepts clearly, learn continuously, and focus on automation.
