Base Salary
$201k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set the technical vision and strategic direction for a team of specialist Solutions Architects across data architecture, AI/ML infrastructure, and open-source domains.
- Advise enterprise CAIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and engineering executives on AI readiness, data modernization, inference optimization, and agentic architectures.
- Architect complex customer solutions spanning data governance, accelerator optimization, training and inference infrastructure, and AI application design.
- Hire, onboard, coach, and develop senior technical talent while building an inclusive, high-performing team culture.
- Develop prescriptive architectures, reference implementations, competitive positioning, conference presentations, and technical keynotes.
- Partner with AWS service teams, peer SA leaders, Professional Services, and specialist organizations to influence roadmaps and deliver unified solutions.
- Drive open-source engagement and contribution across data and AI ecosystems.
Requirements
- 7+ years managing technical, enterprise customer-facing resources or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience architecting and operating solutions on a cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming, or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud.
- Experience hiring, developing, and managing high-performing technical teams.
- Preferred: people management and CXO-level engagement experience.
- Preferred: data warehouse architecture, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, reporting and analytics environments, data structures, and hands-on SQL coding.
- Preferred: knowledge of batch and streaming architectures including Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, Storm, or Beam.
- Preferred: experience defining requirements, prioritizing features, influencing product roadmaps, writing technical articles, speaking at conferences, contributing to open source, and working with AI/ML training and inference infrastructure.
