Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain secure, scalable, performant, and maintainable software solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Design and implement solutions meeting functional and non-functional business requirements.
- Contribute to scalable architecture, clean-code practices, coding standards, and industry best practices.
- Work across the full software delivery lifecycle from concept through deployment within an Agile, cross-functional team.
- Implement unit and acceptance testing and participate in code reviews and release activities.
- Document work and contribute to communities of practice focused on clean code, knowledge-sharing, and development practices.
- Support the growth of other developers and help continuously improve team development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience, including Salesforce development experience.
- At least 2 years of hands-on enterprise experience with Salesforce Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise software using established architectural patterns and clean-code principles.
- At least 2 years of experience implementing Salesforce asynchronous processing, including batch jobs, queueable jobs, or scheduled processes.
- At least 2 years of experience with Git-based source control and source-driven development workflows.
- At least 2 years of experience working in Agile software development teams, including sprint planning, code reviews, release activities, and automated testing practices.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with distributed engineering teams, AWS or Heroku, Salesforce DX plugins, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce certifications, Agentforce or Salesforce AI capabilities, and a master's degree or PhD in a related technical field.
