Responsibilities
- Own the target-state architecture and technical roadmap for an enterprise AI platform.
- Design scalable, resilient, secure, cloud-native AI and agentic solutions using LLMs, RAG, MCP, vector databases, knowledge frameworks, and model orchestration.
- Lead architecture reviews, technology selection, solution governance, modernization initiatives, and reference-architecture development.
- Design structured and unstructured data ingestion, metadata generation, chunking, embeddings, vector storage, retrieval, data quality, lineage, and governance strategies.
- Lead OpenShift-based deployments and containerized workloads using Redis, Oracle, NetApp S3, and related infrastructure.
- Establish high availability, disaster recovery, failover, performance optimization, observability, and infrastructure automation strategies.
- Ensure enterprise security, entitlement management, access control, AI governance, model risk management, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to architects, engineers, data scientists, and product teams.
- Lead technology planning, capacity forecasting, and platform investment decisions.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of software architecture and enterprise platform engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of Python development experience.
- At least 5 years designing AI/ML, GenAI, or advanced analytics platforms.
- Associate degree.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLM architectures, RAG, agentic AI frameworks, LangGraph, LangChain, MCP, vector databases, embeddings, distributed systems, microservices, cloud-native architecture, and OpenShift Kubernetes.
- Strong experience with Python, REST APIs, Oracle, enterprise data platforms, Redis, caching technologies, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Banking or financial-domain knowledge is preferred.
