Responsibilities
- Develop new features and optimize existing functionality for the digital learning platform.
- Improve code quality through reviews, testing, Clean Code, and sustainable software development practices.
- Develop a strategy for automated testing and expand test coverage.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, development processes, and technical standards.
- Use AI-assisted development tools in development, reviews, testing, documentation, and problem-solving.
- Manage servers and application environments, analyze technical problems, and ensure reliable software operation.
- Participate in an interdisciplinary Scrum team, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Share technical knowledge and communicate complex technical and quality-related topics in German and English.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a PHP developer, as indicated by the senior title.
- Strong web-development skills with PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience developing and maintaining MySQL databases.
- Practical application of SOLID, Clean Code, and Test Driven Development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Experience managing servers and application environments and analyzing technical issues.
- Experience with AI-assisted and increasingly AI-native software development, including critically evaluating results and identifying suitable use cases.
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field.
- Experience with cloud infrastructures and AWS is preferred.
- Strong German and English communication skills.
