Responsibilities
- Develop and build hardware-in-the-loop test environments for software integration and testing.
- Continuously develop test frameworks for automated test procedures.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Integrate hardware and software components into complete flight communication systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analyses with hardware and software teams.
- Define test cases, create test procedures, evaluate test results, and document findings.
- Integrate and automate oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers in test environments.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Experience with hardware-near software development and testing complex systems such as microcontrollers, SoCs, or RF/radio technology.
- Strong knowledge of mobile communications, data transmission, networks, and the ISO/OSI reference model.
- Ideally, experience with test automation and test-framework development.
- Strong experience building GitLab CI/CD pipelines and knowledge of container technologies such as Docker or Podman.
- Good programming skills in C/C++ and experience with CMake.
- Confident use of Linux and version-control systems such as Git.
- Very good spoken and written German for project communication and interaction with German-speaking customers.
