Responsibilities

  • Identify quality risks across product features, customer workflows, system interactions, APIs, data flows, integrations, and technical dependencies.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated tests across user interfaces, APIs, integrations, and end-to-end workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright or comparable automation frameworks.
  • Perform exploratory, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing to validate critical customer experiences.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot automation failures.
  • Create and maintain test plans and traceability aligned with product intent, customer impact, and validation strategy.
  • Support production validation and investigate customer-reported issues.
  • Improve quality engineering practices, automation capabilities, test stability, and release confidence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least three years of quality engineering experience, including functional and automated testing.
  • Experience testing web applications and REST APIs.
  • Experience developing automated tests with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or comparable frameworks.
  • Experience working within Agile software development teams.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with test management platforms such as QMetry, Azure DevOps Test Plans, or TestRail.
  • Preferred experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, Python, SQL, database validation, AWS, or Azure.
  • Preferred experience with performance, security, data quality, automation frameworks, reusable testing utilities, AI-powered applications, chatbots, copilots, intelligent workflows, and LLMs.
  • Preferred familiarity with prompt engineering, AI evaluation methodologies, Promptfoo, DeepEval, Ragas, or LangSmith.
  • Eligibility to work in Germany.
