Responsibilities
- Implement C and Python systems software for low-level networking, hardware-facing code, and Linux kernel integration.
- Develop and debug Linux kernel modules, configure drivers, enumerate devices, and perform below-userspace systems debugging.
- Configure and integrate PCIe architectures, high-performance networking offloads, and out-of-band management interfaces.
- Collaborate with mechanical and hardware engineers to integrate COTS components into fieldable, production-ready platforms.
- Communicate project status, provide technical insights for customer issues, and present designs to unclassified and classified customer stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field, plus 9+ years of experience in systems programming, data center infrastructure, or network architecture.
- Deep expertise in C and Python systems programming, low-level networking, hardware-facing code, Linux internals, kernel modules, drivers, device enumeration, below-userspace debugging, and PCIe architecture.
- Experience with kernel-bypass packet processing, hardware offload, line-rate data paths, BMC and automated out-of-band management interfaces, and collaboration with hardware and mechanical engineers.
- Active Top Secret clearance, ability to obtain SCI, willingness to work with classified customers, and ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s or graduate degree, Top Secret/SCI clearance, platform security, secure boot, roots of trust, attestation, cryptographic hardware, embedded or firmware development, ARM cross-compilation, CUDA, accelerated inference, network security monitoring, memory forensics, COTS hardware integration, automated test ranges, deployment automation, CI/CD infrastructure pipelines, network protocol analysis, reverse engineering, and CNO capabilities.
