Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance iOS software components, SDKs, and applications using Swift.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, certification, and production support across the software lifecycle.
  • Provide Level 3 production support and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Design scalable, maintainable, and reusable solutions aligned with product and architecture objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Security, QA, DevOps, Backend, Android, and other engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain functional tests and contribute to software quality and reliability.
  • Optimize Full SDK performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Contribute to build automation, CI/CD pipelines, and software delivery processes.
  • Support security, compliance, and certification activities for mobile payment and authentication products.
  • Mentor less experienced developers and contribute to technical planning, estimation, risk assessment, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate emerging iOS technologies, frameworks, and tools for applicability to DCS products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience developing native iOS applications or SDKs using Swift.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, software architecture patterns, SOLID principles, iOS frameworks, concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex mobile applications or SDKs and working with client-server architectures.
  • Knowledge of unit testing, functional testing, source control, and automated build pipelines.
  • Experience with Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices.
  • Basic Java development experience for functional test development.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience includes mobile SDKs, secure software development, digital payments, banking, fintech, identity, authentication, NFC, digital wallets, cryptographic APIs, certificate management, and secure storage.
  • Preferred experience includes Objective-C interoperability, Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, iOS profiling tools, public API and SDK documentation, technical leadership, mentoring, and AI-assisted development.
  • Familiarity with EMVCo, Visa, Mastercard, or payment-industry certification requirements is preferred.
