Responsibilities

  • Design and build ordering experiences in SwiftUI, including table management, kitchen workflows, and printer integrations.
  • Contribute to shared Kotlin Multiplatform business logic and help shape the ordering domain architecture.
  • Improve the reliability and usability of ordering features across phones, tablets, and POS devices.
  • Collaborate with Android engineers and platform teams to maintain consistent cross-platform behavior and reliable multi-device synchronization.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair programming, collaborative testing, and technical refinement.
  • Scope upcoming work and contribute technical judgment to product and architectural trade-offs.
  • Contribute to Mobile Chapter and KMP platform initiatives across the wider POS tribe.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production iOS applications in Swift, with strong SwiftUI knowledge.
  • Experience working in a large, established codebase and making pragmatic improvements without requiring a full rewrite.
  • Openness to learning and contributing to Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform; prior hands-on KMP experience is welcome but not required.
  • Experience collaborating with Android engineers or other cross-platform partners.
  • Ability to work independently, communicate clearly and directly, challenge assumptions, and proactively propose solutions.
  • Sound technical judgment with the ability to balance product delivery, code quality, and long-term maintainability.
