Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform Android applications using Rust and Kotlin.
- Own mobile development projects end to end, including scoping, prioritization, and delivery.
- Optimize applications for performance, usability, responsiveness, memory usage, and concurrency across devices and screen sizes.
- Design scalable mobile solutions that account for caching, network bandwidth, and server load.
- Explore new technologies and approaches while improving customer satisfaction through feedback and iteration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience developing Android mobile applications with Kotlin.
- Proficiency with Jetpack Compose and familiarity with Rust.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, best practices, memory management, multithreading, and concurrency.
- Good understanding of scalability considerations for mobile applications.
- Experience working in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, learning, and change-driving skills.
