Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve moderately complex platform service components or SDK areas for multi-tenant use.
- Perform deep debugging across distributed services and drive compatibility-safe remediation plans.
- Design, develop, test, debug, troubleshoot, and optimize software features and enhancements.
- Implement API versioning, lifecycle, interoperability, performance, scalability, resilience, logging, monitoring, and observability strategies.
- Lead code reviews and contribute to software architecture, coding standards, secure development, and quality practices.
- Maintain and patch systems, including automation and testing to support service availability, health, and reliability.
- Resolve customer-reported issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend product enhancements based on customer feedback.
- Author team-scoped documentation, samples, adoption guidance, and training materials.
- Independently manage work, prioritize deliverables, collaborate across teams, and mentor or guide colleagues.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of software development, software architecture, API functionality and integration, debugging, testing, performance profiling, and optimization.
- Ability to independently design software solutions, analyze requirements, and implement moderately complex platform improvements.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed-service, product maintenance, API, and customer-reported issues.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices, software quality standards, observability, system maintenance, and reliability practices.
- Ability to collaborate across teams, communicate with customers, manage priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Experience leading code reviews, documenting software designs and adoption guidance, and coaching or guiding others.
