Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Network Management software for Nokia Defense solutions.
- Implement network monitoring, fault management, configuration management, and operational awareness features.
- Write maintainable code using modern software engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools.
- Participate in software design, architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decision-making.
- Develop automated tests and support CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Analyze and resolve complex software, networking, and system-level issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Nokia quality, security, and defense requirements.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
- Experience developing software with C++, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of IP networking, telecommunications systems, or network management concepts.
- Experience in Linux-based development environments.
- Experience with Network Management Systems, OSS solutions, or telecommunications management applications.
- Interest in Artificial Intelligence tools and modern software engineering practices.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Valid personal identification document from a NATO-member country.
- Ability to pass or hold a valid Finnish security clearance check.
- Preferred knowledge of 5G, Core Networks, IP networking, routing, switching, mission-critical communications, cybersecurity, tactical communications, or defense technologies.
- Preferred experience with cloud-native technologies, containers, Kubernetes, microservice architectures, and agile development environments.
