Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain core platform features including data orchestration and verification workflows.
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex features from design through deployment and iteration.
- Write clean, well-tested, and performant code with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security.
- Drive architectural decisions while balancing technical excellence with pragmatic delivery.
- Mentor and pair with engineers, conducting code reviews and sharing knowledge.
- Participate in on-call rotation and lead incident response for platform reliability.
- Contribute to engineering culture through process improvements and documentation.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand customer pain points and deliver solutions.
- Influence technical roadmap and architecture decisions through RFCs and design reviews.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to AI-powered features.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
- Strong programming skills in modern languages, primarily Python, Go, and TypeScript/Node.js.
- Deep understanding of backend systems, distributed architectures, API design, and database optimization.
- Experience building scalable systems that handle high throughput and maintain reliability.
- Track record of owning complex technical projects from conception to delivery.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to engineering culture.
