Responsibilities
- Design and develop the FIC Intraday Risk platform.
- Analyze technical requirements and lead solution design, implementation, testing, and L3 support.
- Interact regularly with global technical stakeholders on requirements, solutions, testing, and status updates.
- Deliver high-quality changes within timelines and propose and implement strategic or tactical technical solutions.
- Perform unit testing and support SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Follow organizational and team processes and best practices while supporting and advising a global team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical or quantitative field.
- 8+ years of experience working with Java.
- Excellent knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and good knowledge of Java frameworks, including Spring.
- Experience with caching solutions such as Gemfire and Redis, and middleware solutions such as Solace, Kafka, and Pulsar.
- Experience with Java testing using JUnit and mocking frameworks.
- Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
- Desirable experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or AWS.
- Ability to work with Linux and Windows servers.
- Knowledge of investment banking and capital markets or experience developing tools for the front office is desirable.
- Strong initiative and excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
