Base Salary

$57k - $109k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Assist with requirements, design, development, testing, integration, and documentation of software applications and tools.
  • Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
  • Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals.
  • Follow established development practices and configuration-management processes.
  • Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.

Requirements

  • Be actively pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline through completion of the internship or co-op session.
  • Have a minimum of 60 credit hours by the start of the internship or co-op session.
  • Have experience with C, C++, or Java.
  • Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain an interim U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance before the start date.
  • Preferred qualifications include C/C++ programming, structured programming, object-oriented design, Unified Modeling Language, statistical and numerical methods, communication skills, and effective teamwork.
  • ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
