Base Salary
$57k - $109k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assist with requirements, design, development, and testing of application software and tools.
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
- Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals.
- Work on projects with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
- Follow established development practices and processes for software configuration management.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a bachelor's or higher degree program in a STEM field and be at least in the junior, senior, or post-graduate year by summer 2027.
- Have experience with C, C++, or Java.
- Be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain an interim U.S. government security clearance before the start date.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of C/C++, structured programming, object-oriented design, Unified Model Language, and statistical and numerical methods.
- Preferred qualifications include effective verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
- ABET accreditation is preferred but not required.
