Responsibilities

Design and implement Grafana dashboards for operational insights.
Monitor deployment health using Prometheus or an equivalent monitoring tool.
Develop automated runbooks for common operational tasks and support escalations.
Serve as an operations contact for developers and customers.
Document incidents, resolutions, and team knowledge.
Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management systems.
Test implemented designs, monitor metrics, and develop operational improvements.
Provide technical guidance and educate team members and coworkers on development and operations.
Build configuration standards and improve infrastructure and application development processes.
Maintain daily management and administration of projects and update existing processes.
Collaborate with global teams and peers to prioritize assigned work.
Research new developments and technologies in software engineering, computer engineering, and software testing.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 2 years of experience in a software product development environment is preferred.
Experience with customer-facing operations on cloud and mobile platforms is preferred.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Go, JavaScript, and Python is preferred.
Experience with AWS or Microsoft Azure cloud services is preferred.
Experience managing software infrastructure with Kubernetes and Terraform is preferred.
Experience deploying CloudOps or SRE practices is preferred.
Knowledge of software and deployment testing methodologies and automated test tools is preferred.
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the full software development lifecycle is preferred.
Experience developing software on both Windows and Linux is preferred.
Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and management to gather requirements and explain product features and technical designs is preferred.
