Responsibilities
- Architect and build a frontend design system covering components, accessibility, theming, versioning, and migration tooling.
- Own the developer experience for engineers using the design system.
- Develop the safety-critical Operator UI, including live 3D scenes, point clouds, geofences, machine overlays, state machines, teleoperation controls, and live video streaming.
- Shape a multi-tenant customer administration portal with authorization, internationalization, real-time data, and B2B customer experiences.
- Deliver production-ready TypeScript using modern frontend engineering practices.
- Lead code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.
- Collaborate with field deployment engineers to incorporate real-world feedback into the codebase.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Design, HCI, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience delivering production frontend systems.
- Deep expertise with TypeScript and React, including hooks, suspense, and concurrent rendering.
- Familiarity with Vite, npm or pnpm workspaces, Storybook, Vitest, Cypress, and Testing Library.
- Strong debugging skills using browser developer tools, logs, telemetry, and tracing.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality software individually and across teams.
- Preferred: experience with Three.js, React Three Fiber, WebGL, point-cloud rendering, real-time data, binary serialization, Protocol Buffers, gRPC-web, or WebSockets.
- Preferred: exposure to safety-critical or industrial UI and experience with XState, TanStack Router or Query, Zustand, Tailwind CSS, Floating UI, or multi-tenant SaaS authorization such as ReBAC or ABAC.
