Base Salary

$120k - $140k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Triage, debug, and resolve technical issues for existing clients through verified production fixes.
  • Implement client-specific configurations, workflow changes, and bug fixes in the TypeScript/Node.js and React codebase.
  • Investigate issues using logs, monitoring, database queries, test environments, and EHR/data integrations.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for client issues, communicate root causes and status, and escalate issues to core engineering when needed.
  • Identify recurring client problems and build product improvements, internal tools, scripts, and automations.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and internal documentation.
  • Handle client and patient data according to HIPAA and Thesis security practices.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a software engineer, support engineer, or solutions engineer working on production B2B SaaS.
  • Working experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, Node.js, and React, with the ability to read and modify an existing codebase.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across web applications, APIs, and cloud infrastructure, plus solid SQL skills; Postgres is preferred.
  • Experience with RESTful or RPC-based APIs, AWS or similar cloud platforms, logging and monitoring tools, and ticketing systems.
  • Direct customer-facing experience, including managing escalations and owning issues through resolution.
  • Familiarity with LLM-based products and interest in using AI tools for debugging and issue resolution.
  • Healthcare or sensitive-data experience in regulated environments such as HIPAA or PHI is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical causes and fixes to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be based in New York and available to work in-office approximately three days per week.
