Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain backend functionality using APL and relevant C#/.NET technologies.
- Lead technical discussions, decision-making, and end-to-end solution design aligned with long-term business goals.
- Architect scalable, secure, high-performance, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineers through code reviews, technical planning, and agile practices.
- Ensure system reliability through unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver client-relevant functionality.
- Investigate technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and bugs and develop sustainable solutions.
- Share knowledge and contribute to technical discussions within the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET technologies.
- Expert knowledge of C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and backend development.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, clean code, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Experience with automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.
- Ability to work with complex business logic and collaborate with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Interest in learning APL; prior APL experience is not required.
- Experience with Azure or cloud-based development is advantageous but not required.
- Experience in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Exposure to functional, array-oriented, or vector-based programming languages is preferred.
- Experience with Azure services, cloud-based development, mentoring engineers, or taking ownership of a component is preferred.
