Responsibilities
- Map current-state workflows with stakeholders and identify opportunities for automation or tooling.
- Build and maintain internal applications and dashboards in Retool for case management, review queues, approvals, and operational visibility.
- Build and support n8n workflows for data movement, notifications, approvals, and system integrations.
- Write and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures in Microsoft SQL Server and assist with database schema design and documentation.
- Assist with building and consuming C# APIs connecting internal tools to core banking and other systems.
- Implement AI/LLM-assisted classification or extraction steps in workflows under senior guidance.
- Test, debug, document, monitor, and support deployed workflows and applications.
- Write runbooks and support notes, assist with incident triage, and perform data validation and reconciliation.
- Gather user feedback and iterate on solutions in collaboration with non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- 0–2+ years of professional experience in software development, data engineering, or a related technical field; internships and academic projects count.
- Exposure to Retool, n8n, or similar automation and internal-tool platforms such as Zapier, Make, Power Automate, or Appsmith.
- Foundational SQL skills, including queries, joins, and basic schema design, ideally with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Exposure to or coursework in C#/.NET, or strong proficiency in another object-oriented language with willingness to learn C#.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON, including consuming and assisting with building APIs.
- Comfort working directly with non-technical business stakeholders and asking clarifying questions.
- Basic scripting ability in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for glue code or Retool custom components.
Benefits
- Target pay is $33.00–$38.00 per hour, with eligibility for a 10% annual discretionary cash bonus target and a 10% annual discretionary restricted stock unit bonus target.
