Base Salary

$168k - $227k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex technical initiatives independently within the team.
  • Mentor and lead developers while cultivating technical understanding.
  • Identify technical needs and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Set the technical strategy for the team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and launch scalable and maintainable software.
  • Clarify technical requirements, assess development estimates, and apply software design approaches.
  • Drive improvements in software quality, customer experience, and product maintainability.
  • Stay current with technology trends, tools, and development approaches.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 4+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 4+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • 4+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
