Base Salary
$179k - $264k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable solutions integrating Noname Security products into the Akamai ecosystem.
- Lead system-wide architectural changes across multiple R&D teams to improve scalability, reliability, and deployment efficiency.
- Oversee critical integration components connecting posture management and API security capabilities with Akamai infrastructure.
- Provide architectural guidance, define design patterns, and align stakeholders on long-term platform strategies.
- Define development guidelines and best practices across engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a listed computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, information systems, information technology, telecommunications engineering, or related field, plus five years of relevant experience.
- Alternatively, eight years of experience in the offered or closely related engineering role without a degree.
- Experience analyzing security vulnerabilities caused by cloud and infrastructure misconfigurations.
- Experience automating systems that detect infrastructure misconfigurations.
- Experience with tenant provisioning systems, distributed backend services, data migration-safe systems, distributed event-driven architecture, and elastic load balancing.
- Experience optimizing large-scale PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with Python, Flask, TypeScript, REST APIs, Kubernetes, AWS, and Azure.
