Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical lead and primary technical contact for the CoreMedia squad, clients, architects, product owners, and stakeholders.
- Define and own scalable, performant, secure, and maintainable CoreMedia Content Cloud architecture and design.
- Develop complex custom content types, Studio extensions, Blueprint customizations, templates, and Spring-based back-end components.
- Lead code reviews and enforce engineering standards, test automation, quality gates, and technical documentation.
- Design integrations between CoreMedia and e-commerce, PIM, DAM, search, personalization, CDN, and other third-party services.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions and stories, and contribute to estimation, backlog refinement, and sprint planning.
- Drive CI/CD, environments, deployments, release readiness, production support, incident analysis, and performance tuning.
- Manage technical debt, CoreMedia upgrades, Blueprint evolution, technical risks, and dependencies.
- Coach and mentor developers, support onboarding, and promote technical autonomy and continuous improvement.
- Participate in Scrum or SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning and cross-team dependency identification.
- Report on technical progress, risks, and quality using Jira and Confluence.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of Java/JEE development experience, including at least 3 years working with CoreMedia Content Cloud, CMS, Studio, CAE, Headless Server, or Blueprint.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring or Spring Boot, Maven, Freemarker or JSP templating, and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs and headless or hybrid CMS architectures.
- Proven Tech Lead or Lead Developer experience involving technical decisions, architecture, code reviews, and mentoring.
- Experience integrating CMS platforms with e-commerce, PIM, DAM, and search solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud provider among AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of performance, caching, security, SEO, and accessibility for large-scale web platforms.
- Experience with Agile environments, Scrum or SAFe, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with technical teams, business stakeholders, and clients in onsite and distributed settings.
- Fluent English at C2 level.
- Experience in luxury, retail, or large multi-brand, multi-site, and multi-language digital platforms is preferred.
- CoreMedia certification or experience with CoreMedia upgrades and migrations is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or commercetools is preferred.
- Front-end or headless experience with React, Next.js, or Node.js is preferred.
- Experience with Grafana, Datadog, JMeter, or similar observability and performance testing tools is preferred.
- Experience with Miro or equivalent collaboration tools, consulting, large-scale Agile organizations, and SAFe PI Planning is preferred.
- French working proficiency is an asset.
