Base Salary
$200k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the backend architecture and delivery of the Logs product area.
- Drive technical direction for log ingestion, storage, querying, and enrichment pipelines.
- Design APIs and workflows for both human users and AI agents.
- Collaborate with PMs, Frontend, and Design to shape the product roadmap.
- Champion product thinking and clarify trade-offs within the engineering team.
- Set technical standards through code and architecture reviews.
- Promote the use of AI-assisted development tools to maintain code quality.
Requirements
- 7+ years of industry experience in high-scale backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Go, Java, or a comparable systems-oriented language.
- Deep experience in designing and operating distributed systems.
- Demonstrated product acumen and ability to critically assess PRDs.
- Track record of leading end-to-end feature delivery with cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
