Base Salary
$264k - $396k/yr
Responsibilities
- Impact Snowflake’s product success in multiple market segments and workloads.
- Engage with PM and Engineering across multiple feature areas.
- Collaborate with customer CTOs and senior leaders to deploy and evaluate new capabilities.
- Create and advocate for new technical architectures backed by sample code.
- Evaluate competing cloud data platform products and compare features with Snowflake’s capabilities.
- Analyze Snowflake telemetry to investigate feature behavior.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to Product Management and Engineering leaders.
- Partner with Marketing teams to position Snowflake’s feature advantages.
- Own and execute on multiple concurrent SnowCAT projects.
Requirements
- Proven expertise as a leader or senior contributor in a data-centric software or services team.
- Deep familiarity with distributed database architectures and query processing.
- Comfort integrating diverse tooling on cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Curiosity to work with various distributed computing/database platforms.
- Deep experience with database-centric workloads including analytic queries and machine learning.
- Expert SQL skills and experience in programming languages like Python, Java, and Scala.
- Experience with agents/LLMs, containerized services, and machine learning model development.
- Strong coding skills to build synthetic workloads and prototypes.
- Excellent communication skills for technical presentations.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment.
- Proven expertise in understanding customer needs and collaborating across teams.
- 20+ years of experience in a technical role for data-centric software or services.
