Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and own the technical strategy for test infrastructure across all of Coinbase engineering.
- Build and operate core Developer Infrastructure - Test services.
- Reduce the time between code written and test results in hand.
- Drive down flakiness rates to ensure trustworthy test signals.
- Own systems end to end, including SLOs and observability.
- Partner with engineering teams to identify and fix test infrastructure issues.
- Mentor engineers and set technical standards for the organization.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience building and operating production software.
- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems and proficiency in a primary language like Go.
- Demonstrated track record of defining and delivering technical strategy for foundational systems.
- Deep experience in test infrastructure, including test execution at scale and flaky-test detection.
- Strong operational instincts focused on reliability, security, and observability.
- Experience driving complex, cross-team technical projects to completion.
- Customer-focused mindset with a measure of success based on system impact.
