Base Salary
$228k - $469k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy for advancing ads ranking and bidding models using large scale ML.
- Design, build, and launch production models that improve ads quality and relevance.
- Build and refine training and evaluation pipelines that learn from online behavior.
- Use AI to accelerate analysis and ensure model correctness and quality.
- Partner with product and applied science teams to translate business objectives into modeling roadmaps.
- Drive technical design reviews and set modeling best practices.
- Mentor and uplevel other MLEs and scientists in advanced modeling techniques.
- Shape product outcomes at scale with direct impact on advertiser value and company revenue.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in applied machine learning, particularly in ranking or ads systems.
- Deep expertise in modern recommendation and ranking techniques.
- Experience building and operating ML systems at scale using Python or C++.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve modeling and analysis workflows.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior partners.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, statistics, or equivalent experience.
- High integrity and ownership in handling data and using AI responsibly.
